If I could rate this bank a -10 I would. I have been saving up for a house and decided to open up an account with nefcu 3 weeks earlier, because I have heard they offer good rates. What they lack, is customer service. Other than the front desk I left completely embarrassed. I went in early before work to deposit 2 checks into my savings account. When I got to the front of the line (5-10min) I was blatantly told by Kayleigh that she wouldn't help me. She then reached out to the person behind me and told them she would help THEM. I asked "you cant help me?" for which she replied, "no, I wont". This is the second time she has done this, last time putting up a "this lane closed" sign. Annoyed, embarrassed and frustrated, I couldn't wait any longer and left. Clearly other people have had problems with this in the past. I would bank where you get appreciated.

Not impressed at all. I have a car loan account with them and went there to get help with my son's passport documents notarised. Plainly refused to help and gave many excuses. They said my son is not on the account and that they don't notarise thump impression of minors. Made me wait for long and attended customers that were there after me. Went to FedEx and that nice lady notarised everything without a single question asked.

NEFCU has always provided me with a great experience. I have been a member for over five years and have several accounts and loans with NEFCU. I have always been extremely pleased with their service and the professional staff, not to mention their good loan rates. They also will actually deliver loan checks in person (which is great for those of us that live outside of Burlington). Mike delivered the check for our last auto loan and we had him in for a visit. What a nice guy. I highly recommend NEFCU if you are looking to switch banks or have just moved to the area, you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I have had several accounts with NEFCU for about eight years. Whether depositing, borrowing or transferring funds, we have always been met with with most helpful and friendly staff. Never have we had any unpleasant encounters.
