I cannot think of any place better to find your furever friend. I love everyone at this rescue and wish people understood how hard it is to work here. Everyone here loves the minutes they spend working to find these amazing dogs homes, even when they get peed on. So, to all those rude people out there. Go adopt a fish.
What people don't see is all the sweat, pee, and poop behind the scenes. It is no easy task to work at or run a rescue. Often times people are rude to the staff because someone else came in and "took their dog" when it is a first come first adopt policy. People are rude because the staff can't always answer the phone when the lobby is full with 18 adopters taking home their forever home. People are rude because some people are just rude. Every minute that someone is rude the staff have to be polite and apologize and take time out of their day to try and make up for whatever people want to complain about.
I would recommend All Breed Rescue!
The front staff is amazing at coordinating the craziness on transport days and honestly every other day. The front staff can't always get to the phone because often times the lobby is full of adopters. They coordinate all the phone calls, emails, facebook inquisitions, adoptions, and so so much more. Usually it is one person staffed in the front to do all of that. It is rescue They can only afford so many staff members. Often times the people who come in to help on transport days are all volunteers. The back staff is amazing at caring for these animals and providing them with love and the attention they need. The board is always around helping to make sure rules are being followed. Plus they have hundreds of volunteers who are helping out in any way they can.
We not only received a package with paperwork, coupons and helpful resources, but were able to call anytime to ask questions, address concerns or just let them know how Skye Blue (formerly Denise) is doing.
Very helpful staff. Took their time with me as I met with several prospective dogs and chose the one that worked best with my lifestyle!
Did a perfect job matching us up with our new 4 legged best friend
Harvey, a pit bull mix who was adopted from All Breed Rescue a year ago, was returned to them after viciously biting a friend of mine in the FACE. The bite required several stitches. He also bit someone's arm shortly before biting my friend in the face. This was unprovoked and I learned that Harvey had also bitten a young girl shortly after his adoption. This dog growled and barked excessively. He was returned to the rescue and All Breeds was informed of his behavior. Later that week he is up on their website as adoptable and the description for him says he "love kisses"! If you try to kiss this dog, he'll probably rip your face off. It is totally irresponsible to try to place a dog with a bite history like this one has. A call to All Breeds about Harvey informing them of these incidents was met with "he's been really good since he's been back here." It was then revealed that he was going to a foster family that weekend. Really? Does the foster family know that Harvey has bitten THREE people in the last year? One of these days one of these dogs All Breeds is adopting or fostering out without disclosing their bite history is going to seriously maim someone and All Breeds will end up getting the pants sued off them. I hope they have good liability insurance.
I have been affiliated with All Breed Rescue for over three years. I know for a fact that everyone at the rescue is dedicated to finding these dogs amazing homes, and making sure these homes are amazing for these dogs.
We couldn't be happier with our dog! The experience with the adoption process was great. The facility was clean, the staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Even though it was an adoption event, we were given all the time we needed to have a first bonding experience and we were not pressured to make a decision.
