Food and service is hit or miss here. Some staff is friendly, some staff has the personality of cardboard. Burgers aren't bad but the french fries are usually soggy. Wait times for food can vary from 15 minutes to an hour. This place is basically just a Chili's but with Vermont-branding.
Good local ingredients but 50/50 whether it will be reheated food or cooked well. It's very close to being great. The waitress was very polite, the food took a while and I had to send back a disgustingly greasy food. Typically when I have personally encountered that it was microwaved? I keep eating there because it definitely has it's visits that are really good. Question is when will be the consistency? Am I getting some a night and day difference in chefs depending on what time you go? Not sure the issue but if be happy rise my stars if they raise their consistency!
It is a beautiful establishment they just need to tweak a few things.
First customers today, very disappointed meal . Fries tasted like cooked yesterday and Burger was over cooked. Mentioned it to waitress that fries were old tasting and got response from her was '" I watched them being cooked" no other comment. Didn't eat them and no compensation offered. I won't be back.
The staff was great. My drink was a little pricey ($9) and I literally took four sips and it was gone, comical; I found it was all crushed ice. Then we waited 45 minutes to get the sandwiches we ordered, the Avocado Grilled Chicken Club, but there was no avocado, on either sandwich. I was too "hungry" to complain because I was afraid she would take my plate away to fix it. Lastly, it was so noisy that my husband and I had to yell back and forth to each other, so we didn't talk much.
Great staff, food, and well-priced. Perfect before-movie spot for a burger.
